Request leave
You can request leave in Dashboard or My Time.
To request leave:
- Go to Dashboard or My Time.
Select New Leave Request. The Add New Leave Request screen appears.
- Enter the following details for the leave request:
- Leave type
- Leave dates
- Select the leave duration (Full Day, Morning, Afternoon) for each applicable leave date.
- Upload any supporting documents for the leave request, if needed.
- In Notes, enter the reason for the leave request.
- Select Add Record. Your leave request has been submitted for review.
Once the leave type is made available to you in Marco, you can follow the procedure above to request leave.
Once your leave request has been reviewed, you will receive an email notification about the outcome. You can also go to My Time > Time-off Records to view the leave request status.
If your request has been rejected, you can select the leave request to view the rejection notes. Rejected leave requests cannot be edited for resubmission, but you can create a new request instead.
As a staff, you cannot delete or edit approved leave requests. If you need to cancel the request or make any changes, you can contact your HR representative or vendor for help.
You can edit submitted leave requests if your manager has not reviewed it yet.
To edit a leave request:
- Go to My Time > Time-off Records.
- Under the leave request, select ⋮ (three-dot icon) > Edit.
- Update the relevant fields.
- Select Submit. Your leave request has been submitted for review.
You can only delete unapproved leave requests. If you delete a request, the action cannot be reversed. All deleted requests can be viewed in Deleted Items.
To delete a leave request:
- Go to My Time > Time-off Records.
Under the leave request, select ⋮ (three-dot icon) > Remove.
