Through Marco, companies can obtain services to manage their own workforce:

- Payroll
- EOR (Employer of Record)
- HRO (Human Resource Operation)

# Service type

In Marco Platform, the service type provides information on who employs and manages the staff. Marco users can be assigned to one of several service types.

| **Service Type**               | **Description**                                                                                                                                                                 |
| ------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| System                         | The staff is employed and managed by their own company. The company uses Marco Platform to handle HR-related work such as onboarding, leave, expenses, and payroll.             |
| Payroll                        | The staff is employed and managed by their own company, but the staff's payroll is handled by a payroll service provider.                                                       |
| EOR (Employer of Record)       | The staff is employed and managed by an EOR provider. The EOR provider handles HR-related work such as onboarding, leave, expenses, and payroll.                                |
| HRO (Human Resource Operation) | The staff is employed by their company, but managed by a HR service provider. The HR service provider handles HR-related work such as onboarding, leave, expenses, and payroll. |

As an employee, information about your service type can be found in **My Info** > **Work** > **Employment Info**.

If your service type is incorrect, contact your HR representative or vendor to make the changes for you.
