In Marco, employees can be assigned to one of several profile types:

- Staff Only
- Intern
- Manager Only
- Manager & Staff

The profile type determines what users can do in Marco.

| Staff Only       | - View and manage own HR information.<br />- Request leave, add expenses, and more.<br />- Can be set as expat.                                                                                |
| Intern           | - View and manage own HR information.<br />- Request leave, add expenses, and more.<br />- *Cannot* be set as expat.                                                                           |
| Manager Only     | - Manage other employees and workforce-related matters.<br />- *Cannot* view and manage own HR information.<br />- *Cannot* request leave, add expenses, and more.<br />- Can be set as expat. |
| Manager & Staff  | - Manage other employees and workforce-related matters.<br />- View and manage own HR information.<br />- Request leave, add expenses, and more.<br />- Can be set as expat.                   |

The profile type also affects what tabs can be accessed in Marco:

- Staff or Interns can access the Personal tabs to manage their own data.
- Managers can access the Team Management tabs and Billing & Order tabs.

# Find your profile type

**Staff and Interns**

If you are a Staff or Intern, you will only be able to access the Personal tabs. Additionally, as an Intern, your Marco header will contain an Intern tag.

**Managers**

If you are a Manager, you will be able to access the Team Management tabs and Billing & Order tabs. Users with a Manager Only profile cannot access their Personal tabs, while users with a Manager & Staff profile can access them.

If your profile type is incorrect, contact your HR representative or vendor to make the changes for you.
