A Data Manager can manage the staff's HR information in Marco, depending on their access privilege. For example, a Data Manager with time access can manage the staff's leave entitlement and approve leave. A Data Manager with payroll access can manage the staff's pay details, run payroll reports, and so on. Each staff can have multiple Data Managers, who are typically the HR and payroll administrators for the staff.
Each staff can only have one Reporting Manager at all times. To allow multiple managers to approve leave requests or expenses, you can add them as the staff's Data Manager. Ensure that these Data Managers have the appropriate access privilege for approving leave requests or expenses (time access or payroll access).

What is the difference between the allowances in salary details and the allowances in expense records?
The allowances in a user's salary details are regular or expected allowances, such as a monthly transport allowance or a one-time home office allowance. These allowances are typically stated in the staff's employment contract.
The allowances in a user's expense records are ad-hoc allowances, such as a transport or food allowance for a business trip. These allowances are granted for certain expenses that may be incurred during a trip, and are usually not part of the staff's salary details.
